The Official Line: I am an educational leadership professor at The University of Tampa where I fill the capacity of program coordinator for the Master's in Educational Leadership program. I have spent the past 15 years committed to advancing the field of education for educators, students, and leaders. My research platform includes: Culturally Relevant Leadership, Expanding Turnaround School Capacity, Closing the Achievement Gap, Women Empowerment, and Teacher Leadership.
The Bottom Line: What I want more than anything is to awaken the consciousness of society so that we are all more socially aware of systemic and underlying issues that pervade our underprivileged communities and populations. It is through my work that I hope to be an agent of sustainable change.

Life is a journey filled with opportunities for growth and change. Growth can not occur without change and change is inevitable. Those who are willing to expand their capacity experience exponential growth over time and those who fear change often remain stagnant without realizing that they themselves are the one factor holding back their own growth. Through my work I hope to motivate and encourage others to be the change they want to see in the world. I stand to empower, to elevate, and to inspire.
